Ebay's Advise It's Sellers Not To Sell Products With High Lead Content

The world is alarmed with the spread of products with very high lead content. Recently, some high lead content products coming from china has been banned not only by US but also by other countries in the world. Most of these products are children’s toys and have become very alarming because of its hazardous effect on children’s health. Ebay is in full support from selling such products especially this Christmas where toys are very much in demand. Ebay reiterated its policy for recalled items to all ebay sellers. Here is the list of guidelines regarding recalled items:

Ebay Policy for Recalled Items:

eBay strongly supports the efforts of the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to protect consumers against potentially hazardous goods. eBay does not permit the listing of items that have been identified by the CPSC as hazardous to consumers and therefore subject to a recall.

You can get product recall and safety news directly from the Consumer Products Safety Commission.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

· Listing cancellation

· Limits on account privileges

· Account suspension

· Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

· Loss of PowerSeller status

Ebay also encourage buyers to check with US Consumer Safety Commission and take full responsibility of every product they buy.

I Have Good Products To Sell But Where Are My Customers?

Have you ever encountered this question or are you in such a verge of confusion that instead of analyzing the issue, you just keep going and struggling to make it to the marketplace. Well, I think it’s time for you to stop and review your business. Where are you going? Oftentimes, sellers attempts to sell anything without focusing on what they can specialize and do better than any other sellers. As a newbie, it is important that you know these things. Never sell products that you know a little about and you know you can’t make it better than anyone else. Remember there are already thousands of these products before you can even think of selling it. Research more on the product and know the demand in the market. If the market is very much saturated for the product, it will affect its profitability. Timing is very much important when introducing an item to sell. You don’t sell summer clothes on winter time. It’s an absurd thing to do. Know the climate, the season. Know how to predict. Yes, advance research will let you know what will be “in” and “out”. It is best to sell products before it becomes “hot” in the marketplace. When you know these simple tips, you will not be asking yourself this question: “where have all my customers gone?”

What Items Sells Best On Ebay?

Are you having problems selling your products on ebay? Or are you starting to do online selling and can’t seem to make up your mind what items to sell? Here are some great tips for you. Imagine ebay as a “public market”. It has everything in it. Even the craziest and funniest product is out for sale. The only thing a seller has to remember is that the competition is tough and everyone wants to get noticed. Nobody wants to be left behind. If you are starting your ebay business and you have no idea of what is going on, you will not only be left behind your business will eventually die down. Find niche items to sell. Niche items are items that have little or no competition from the large market. Take note that you want to be noticed so find the right items for your target market. Items that are light and easy to ship and are not perishable and or extremely fragile are good ones to sell. They not only free you from worrying if they get to your customer undamaged but also will lessen your payment for shipment. It is also important that the items you sell are not difficult to describe. Your target market must easily recognize the benefits of your product even without having to be seen and held.
